I grew up with eleven siblings on a farm near Chokio, MN. We kept entertainment simple, I drew and I sang. I spent my college years studying for histology and medical lab exams. Marriage and soon my family and work at Mayo Clinic and Rochester Public Schools kept me very busy but I continued drawing and singing. I discovered fluid acrylics several years ago. There are limitless ways to move fluid paint, embellish and express the joy and life around me. My paintings emphasize earth, sky, nature, and love of water; very organic. My connection to the world around me continues. My studio is in Rochester although you may find me near the water of Ottertail Lake.
