Erin Sinnwell is an Iowa native and has been living in Rochester for over 20 years. Growing up in the rural town of Maquoketa, Iowa, Erin would walk up and down her gravel road and take photo after photo. She graduated from Wartburg College with a major in creative writing where she also studied art history and dark room photography. She has worked at 7 art galleries and frame shops in her lifetime.
In 2013 she started a photography business. Her business consists of selling fine art prints and doing portrait photography--weddings, events, maternity, pets and families. Her fine art photography consists of many genres--still life, landscapes, abstract, wildlife and animals. She photographs using a minimalist ideal--being able to convey a strong message using as little as possible.
